Mooring your boat in a SeaPen

Sep 9, 2020 | Boat Docks, Product Updates, Seapen

We are giving you some hints and tips on how to use your SeaPen this month and we thought we would start at the very beginning: How to moor your boat in a SeaPen!

Mooring your boat in a SeaPen has never been easier.  Our gated unit has been designed with ease of use in mind and with the simple press of button, you can drive straight on.

No more wrestling with ropes or yelling back and forth!  The SeaPen makes everything a breeze with the Smart Controller.

With a touch of a single button, the SeaPen rear gate drops open to let your ship off and onto the water. To dock, simply drive into the SeaPen,  where SeaPen will straighten you up and hold you at your berth, meaning less stress and more fun.

Coming home from a day out on the water is made easy with the press of the Smart Controller.  Pressing the down button, pops the SeaPen into the Down Cycle allowing air to escape from the gate and lowering it into the water so that you can drive in.

Once safely within the SeaPen, another simple press of the SeaPen Smart Controller will put the SeaPen into the Up Cycle.  This will start the bilge system allowing the gate to raise and the pump to start drawing water away from your boat.

Mooring your boat is now complete, all you need to do is let SeaPen take care of the rest.

The SeaPen pump will continue to work until all the water has been pumped away from your boat.

To exit, put your SeaPen into the down cycle and wait for the gate to be at 90 degrees.  Your boat goes from floating on the net, to floating on the water where your boat is now able to float clear. This process happens in minutes so that you can just start your engines and go boating for the day.

Mooring your boat really has never been easier.  SeaPen was designed so that you can make the most out of your time on the water.  SeaPen Less work! More fun!
