Upgrading to a dry dock like the SeaPen just makes sense.
Say no to boat ramp queues and antifoul headaches.
Launch directly from your berth with one button push – the simplest way to get out on the water.
Antifoul is a marine-grade pesticide so toxic that the government has issued warnings about it.
Dry docking is healthier for you, your family, and the waterways you love.
Antifoul adds drag to your hull, which gets worse as it degrades.
An antifoul-free hull means you’ll perform better in the water (and save on fuel).
‘The SeaPen is the best investment we have made to our boating lifestyle.
My boat is completely dry, sitting at water level making it easy to get on board and go at any time.
I would recommend all boat owners to take a look at SeaPen.’

Port Phillip Bay. The Murray River. French Island.
That’s where you should be spending your weekends – not in traffic jams or boat-ramp queues.
A dry dock means you can skip the waiting, the towing, and the unloading to spend more time in Melbourne’s most beautiful destinations.
Just park at your marina, board your vessel, and push a button on your dry dock’s remote control to launch.
That’s how simple getting out there can be.
The average boat owner uses their vessel 11 times a year when it’s on a trailer – but 20 times a year when it’s docked on a SeaPen.
That’s an 81% increase in time on the water.
No-one likes antifouling their boat.
Bottom paint is expensive, painful to apply, and terrible for both you and the environment.
(It’s marine-grade pesticide. Think about that next time you’re sanding down your hull.)
And, with a dry dock, you never have to do it again.
Docks like the SeaPen keep your boat elevated above the waterline, which means zero barnacles or marine growth and zero spent on annual antifouling.
That’s better for you, your family, and your bank account.
‘DockPro Pty Ltd are the BEST in SeaPen advanced docking technology.
After I spent sometime researching for the best product to protect my new boat whilst stored at Wyndham Harbour here in Vic, I came across DockPro, and I’m so glad I did!
If you have a boat that is located in a mooring, then YOU MUST have this product in order to protect your investment.
SeaPens is the only dry-docking solution that keeps your boat free from barnacles without lifting it out of the water.’

The SeaPen is a sleek, low-profile answer to traditional boat lifts. One button click to launch and dock – it’s that simple.
Store boats and PWCs of all sizes on FloatBricks – modular buoyant bricks that can build everything from drive-on docks to floating work stations.
The Floatlift keeps your boat above water, no matter where in Melbourne you’re moored. A solar-powered hydraulic system makes it ideal for unpowered sites and temporary moorings.
Dock safely in locations like the Tidal Waterways with the Elevator Boat Lift. Nearly unlimited lift range makes access from any waterfront property simple.
The Four-Post Boat Lift keeps your vessel safe at the height you choose – above waves, white-wash, and tidal ebbs.
Dock in and around the Patterson River with the Sunlift SLX, an adjustable-range dock that needs just 25 centimetres of under-keel water.
Compared to the other costs of owning a boat, dry docks aren’t expensive. Two years of berthing costs, for example, costs roughly the same as a SeaPen.
A good dry dock like the SeaPen will last for at least 10 years with regular servicing, can be sold as a standalone asset, and helps preserve the resale value of your boat. As an alternative to antifouling, its payback period is around 5 years – that means, after 5 years, you’ll have spent less money on your dry dock than you would have on antifouling treatments.
As an alternative to trailering, a dry dock is priceless. Saving several hours (literally) each week is, for most boat owners, well worth the cost. In other words: a dry dock pays for itself in all sorts of ways. It’s less of an expense than an investment.
The SeaPen doesn’t have a fixed lifespan. Both its frame and skin are built for durability, and, with regular servicing, it can support your vessel for upwards of a decade. Many of our customers’ SeaPens have been in service for over 15 years.
Any components that fail over time due to wear and tear can be individually replaced by one of our technicians. Keep in mind, though, that your SeaPen is just like your car or boat. It’s built for durability, but it still needs annual servicing to perform at its best (and preserve your warranty).
Make sure you book a maintenance service every 12 months.
It depends on where you live, how much you want to spend on a berth, and your boat’s size. If you’re located near Hobson’s Bay, for example, Savages Wharf, the Anchorage Marina, the Royal Melbourne Yacht Squadron, and St Kilda Marina are all great choices. Keep in mind that securing a berth isn’t easy – you’ll normally need to add yourself to a fairly competitive wait list.
Based further out around Port Phillip? Wyndham Harbour, Queenscliff Harbour, Martha Cove Marina, and Hidden Harbour Marina all offer berths. Alternatively, Westernport Marina and Yaringa Boat Harbour offer easy access to Western Port and French Island Marine National Park.
As an alternative to antifouling, the sole disadvantage of dry docking is its upfront cost. Some Melbourne boat owners view annual antifouling as a more manageable expense – even though a SeaPen becomes more cost-effective after ~5 years of ownership.
In every other way, though, dry docking is superior to antifouling.
