Turn your site into a convenient boat lift solution with the Elevator Boat Lift by Golden Boat Lifts.
What if your docking options extended beyond the marina?
What if you could dock along the river that borders your property?
Or on that tidal channel that’s ‘too rough’ for most dry docks?
The Elevator Boat Lift provides a solution for revetment walls, embankments, and other existing fixed structures.
‘Inaccessible’ just became your new launch point.
Lift your vessel metres above the water line, protecting it from waves and tidal swells.
Golden's Sea-Drive, stainless steel motors, and other innovative patented features set their boat lifts apart from the competition.
Turn seawalls, canal banks, and other existing fixed structures into dry docks.
Tidal movements.
Wind and waves.
Excessive wake from careless skippers.
Countless factors can lead to rub rail damage and scraping while docked in the water.
And you’ll need to antifoul your hull, which adds drag and increases fuel burn.
The Elevator Boat Lift keeps your vessel high and dry – no damage from water movements, and no performance impact from antifoul.
The Elevator Boat Lift means you can dry-dock your vessel almost anywhere – even if the shoreline’s too rough or the seawall’s too high.
No more time wasted on driving to the marina or boat ramp.
Dry-dock wherever works for you, and get out there faster.
Golden’s exclusive Sea-Drive® has proven its reliability over 15 years, with over 100,000 units installed.
Unlike competitors using off-the-shelf gearboxes, the Sea-Drive® features a robust aluminium die-cast enclosure and dual worm gear reducers, ensuring it won’t back-drive.
We avoid electric brakes, which can fail in tough environments, and connect the Sea-Drive® directly to the boat lift drive shaft with a 5/8″ hardened drive pin to handle its high torque output.
Dry-docking your vessel means you don’t have to spend time applying and stripping antifoul or towing your vessel to the water.
That equals more time out on the water for you and your loved ones.
You’ll also be able to get a higher price when you sell a dry-docked vessel – more funds for your next adventure.
Both ablative and hard antifouls can affect your vessel’s performance, increasing drag and fuel consumption.
Antifoul also doesn’t prevent salt damage, growth on your motors and props, or scrapes and bumps from other boats – which can all be avoided through dry-docking.
Most antifouls are biocidal, which means they work by poisoning barnacles, algae, and other marine growth.
Over time, that poison leaches into the surrounding water, which can kill sea life (including fish) and cause birth defects.
Some antifoul components, like TBT, are so toxic that they’ve been banned in Australia.
A dry dock like the Elevator keeps your hull clean without antifoul.
You won’t pay for stripping and painting each year, and your vessel will be worth more when you’re ready to sell.
That’s an investment worth making.

The Elevator Boat Lift has a manufacturer’s warranty of 5 years on structural parts, 10 years on the Sea-Drive, and 2 years on all other parts.
Anecdotally, many of our customers have had their Elevators in service for 10 years, with some lifts staying in place across multiple property owners.
The Elevator Boat Lift needs regular maintenance to stay safe and operational. After each use, rinse all cables, pulleys, and submersible parts with fresh water. (Do this while you’re rinsing down your vessel.) Every 10 uses, check the zinc anodes.
Every 6 months, apply a high-impact, water-resistant grease to all fittings except the Sea-Drive, inspect the stainless steel cables for fraying or kinking, and inspect all electrical components for wear and damage. Once a year, contact our maintenance team to book a preventative service.Â
If your lift ever experiences a problem, don’t attempt to remove or adjust any parts yourself. Instead, call us for assistance – DIY repairs can void your warranty and expose you to various hazards, including moving parts and live electricity.
The Sea-Drive, manufactured by Golden Boat Lifts, is a patented aluminium die-cast enclosure that houses dual worm gear reducers – which prevents the gears from back-driving. Each Elevator Boat Lift includes a Sea-Drive connected directly to the lift drive shaft.
The Sea-Drive’s high torque output and rugged design mean it’s ideal for frequent, high-shock applications in harsh environments. With more than 20,000 units produced over the past 10 years, Golden has never recorded a single failure or back-drive.
